Husband and wife team Chuck and Georgia Siegfried each perform integral functions in the creation of Blue Skies Chainmail jewelry. Using Sterling Silver wire, Chuck expertly makes precision jump rings in many different gauges and diameters. By connecting each jump ring one at a time, Georgia handcrafts each piece of jewelry.
Using ancient chainmail weaves, Georgia designs and creates variations that combine the ancient with the contemporary. She uses pearls, precious and semi-precious gemstones, Swarovski crystals, and borosilicate glass beads to create unique one-of-a-kind and limited edition art jewelry.
Georgia first encountered chainmail three years ago. Since then, it has taken a dominant place in their jewelry. Chuck and Georgia’s art is an important part of their life. It allows them to work side-by-side to create things of beauty. |
